Excessive condensation or fogging on the glass door

Safety: No internal electrical work is usually required for this symptom.

• Check environment: High humidity rooms will cause more condensation. Use a dehumidifier or improve ventilation.
• Inspect gasket: Ensure a tight seal all around the door. Replace the gasket if leaking.
• Reduce door openings: Limit how often and how long the door is opened.
• Door heater (if present): Some models have a low-wattage heater around the door frame. If condensation is severe and the heater is suspected failed, have a technician test and replace the heater strip if applicable.
