Wine cooler lights and display work, but compressor and fans never start

Safety: Unplug the unit before working near the compressor. Do not bypass safety devices.

• Listen for relay clicks: When the unit calls for cooling, you should hear a click from the control board. No click may indicate a board issue.
• Inspect compressor components: Access the rear compartment and check the start relay and overload protector for burn marks or loose connections.
• Test start relay and overload: Use a multimeter to check continuity and resistance per Amana specifications. Replace any components that test open or show signs of overheating.
• Check wiring harness: Ensure all wires to the compressor and start components are secure and not damaged.
• Replace main control board if needed: If start components are good but the board never sends power to the compressor, replace the main control board.
