Wine cooler makes loud humming or buzzing noise from the rear

Safety: Unplug the unit before adjusting or touching moving parts.

• Identify noise source: Pull the unit away from the wall and listen from the back to determine if the noise is from the fan or compressor.
• Inspect condenser fan: Remove the rear panel and check if the fan blade is rubbing against the shroud, wiring, or insulation. Adjust or secure components to clear the blade path.
• Tighten mounts: Tighten any loose screws on the fan bracket and compressor mounting bolts. Add rubber pads if necessary to reduce vibration.
• Secure refrigerant lines: If copper lines are rattling against the cabinet, gently bend them away and secure with foam or clips.
• Replace noisy fan motor: If the fan motor itself is loud or grinding, replace it with an OEM Amana condenser fan motor.
