Possible Causes
Control set to highest temperature, Faulty thermistor reading high, Loose sensor connector, Control board firmware or hardware fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Internal work requires unplugging the unit.
- Adjust setpoint: Attempt to lower the set temperature using the control panel. Confirm that the change is accepted and displayed.
- Check for sensor error codes: If Hi appears with E1/E2/F1/F2, address the sensor fault first.
- Inspect sensor wiring: Access the cabinet thermistor and ensure its connector is secure and wiring intact.
- Test sensor: Measure resistance and compare to expected values. Replace the cabinet temperature sensor if readings are incorrect.
- Replace control board: If the sensor is good and Hi persists, the main control PCB may be misinterpreting the signal and should be replaced.
