Possible Causes
Faulty main control PCB relay, Broken wire to compressor, Open thermal overload, Defective temperature control logic
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the cooler before testing wiring or removing panels.
- Check temperature setting: Ensure the setpoint is low enough to call for cooling.
- Access control board: Remove the rear cover to access the main control PCB. Look for burnt components or loose connectors.
- Inspect compressor wiring: Trace the wires from the control board to the compressor start relay and overload. Repair any broken or burnt wires.
- Test compressor voltage: With extreme caution and proper tools, a qualified person can measure AC voltage at the compressor input when cooling is demanded. If no voltage is present, the control board relay is likely faulty.
- Replace control board: If wiring is intact and the board does not send power to the compressor, replace the main control PCB.
