Possible Causes

Condenser coil clogged with dust, Condenser fan not running, Refrigerant leak or low charge, Weak compressor performance

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the cooler before cleaning or accessing the rear components. Avoid bending refrigerant tubing.

  • Check door sealing and loading: Ensure the door is closing fully, the gasket is intact, and the cabinet is not overloaded blocking air circulation.
  • Clean condenser coils: Remove the rear lower panel to access the condenser (metal radiator-like coil). Use a soft brush and vacuum to remove dust and lint. Do not use sharp tools that can puncture the coil.
  • Verify condenser fan operation: With the panel off, plug the unit back in and observe whether the condenser fan runs when the compressor is on. If the fan is not spinning, unplug the unit and inspect the fan for obstructions or a seized motor.
  • Replace condenser fan if needed: If the fan does not run freely by hand or has no continuity, install a new Aobosi-compatible condenser fan motor.
  • Check ambient temperature: Aobosi wine coolers are designed for indoor use. Extremely hot rooms can trigger high-temperature errors. Move the unit to a cooler location if necessary.
  • If E5 persists with warm cabinet: The sealed refrigeration system may have a leak or the compressor may be weak. These issues require a licensed refrigeration technician to diagnose and repair.
