Possible Causes

Faulty low-voltage power supply on main PCB, Shorted interior LED light module, Shorted evaporator fan motor drawing down control voltage

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the wine cooler before inspecting lights, fans, or the control board.

How to troubleshoot E7:

  • Check interior light: Open the door and verify if the LED light turns on. If it flickers or does not light, disconnect the LED light module (if it has a plug) and see if E7 clears after a power reset.
  • Inspect evaporator fan: Remove the interior rear panel to access the evaporator fan. Check if the fan spins freely by hand and for any signs of melted plastic or burnt smell.
  • Test fan operation: Briefly power the unit and observe if the fan starts. If it hums, stalls, or does not run, unplug the unit and test the fan motor for continuity. Replace the Arctic King evaporator fan motor if defective.
  • Check wiring harness: Look for pinched or shorted wires between the control board and the light/fan assemblies.
  • Evaluate the main PCB: If disconnecting suspect loads (light, fan) does not clear E7, the low-voltage section of the main control board may be faulty and require replacement.

Warning: Do not bypass fuses or safety components on the control board; this can create a fire hazard.
