Possible Causes
Loose internal compressor components (normal wear), Loose copper tubing contacting cabinet, Loose rear panel or shelves
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the cooler before making adjustments.
Steps:
- Check shelves and bottles: Ensure shelves are fully seated and bottles are not touching the cabinet walls, which can rattle during compressor operation.
- Tighten panels: Tighten screws on the rear access panel and any loose interior panels.
- Inspect tubing: Look for refrigerant lines touching each other or the cabinet. Gently bend them apart slightly to prevent contact, being careful not to kink the tubing.
- Monitor noise: Some brief rattle at start/stop can be normal for small compressors. If it becomes very loud or changes suddenly, consult a technician.
