Possible Causes
Faulty zone temperature sensor, Open wiring between zones and main PCB, Defective secondary zone control board (if equipped), Firmware error in main controller
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before accessing internal wiring or boards.
- Identify affected zone: Note whether the upper or lower zone is misbehaving. Compare displayed and actual temperatures.
- Check zone sensor: Locate the NTC sensor for the affected zone (often on the rear wall of that compartment). Inspect wiring and test resistance. Replace if out of specification.
- Inspect inter-zone harness: On some Artevino dual-zone models, a harness runs between zones or to a secondary board. Check for pinched or disconnected plugs.
- Secondary board check: If your model has a small PCB dedicated to one zone, inspect it for damage. Replace if there are signs of failure and sensors test good.
- Power reset: After any repair, perform a full power reset (unplug 5–10 minutes) to clear E11 and reinitialize zone control.
