Possible Causes

Loose ribbon cable between display board and main PCB, Oxidized connectors on control board, Faulty touch keypad or display PCB, Low-voltage power supply instability on main board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the wine cooler before accessing the control panel or electronics.

  • Remove control panel: On most Artevino models, the control panel is at the top front. Remove the trim and screws to access the display PCB.
  • Inspect ribbon cable: Check the flat cable between the display board and main control board. Reseat both ends, ensuring they are fully inserted and locked.
  • Check for moisture: Look for signs of condensation or liquid ingress around the control panel. Dry gently with a lint-free cloth and allow time to air dry.
  • Visual inspection of PCB: Examine for burnt components, corrosion, or cracked solder joints. If present, the display PCB or main PCB may need replacement.
  • Test after reseating: Reassemble loosely, restore power, and see if E6 clears and buttons respond correctly. If not, replace the user interface board first; if the fault persists, replace the main control board.
