Possible Causes
Failed evaporator fan motor, Obstruction by ice or bottle contact, Broken fan blades, Faulty fan driver circuit on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the cabinet before working near the fan or evaporator.
- Access internal fan: Remove shelves and the rear interior panel to expose the evaporator and fan assembly.
- Check for obstructions: Ensure no bottles, labels, or wiring are contacting the fan blades. Remove any ice buildup around the fan housing.
- Spin test: Gently spin the fan by hand. If it feels stiff or seized, the motor is likely defective.
- Voltage test: With the unit powered (only if you are qualified and comfortable), measure voltage at the fan connector when the fan should be running. If correct voltage is present but the fan does not run, replace the fan motor. If no voltage, suspect the main control board.
- Replace fan motor: Disconnect the fan wiring, remove mounting screws, and install an Artevino-compatible evaporator fan. Ensure blades are oriented correctly and wiring is secured away from moving parts.
- Reassemble and test: Restore power and verify that E7 clears and airflow is restored.
