Possible Causes
Faulty cabinet temperature sensor reading too warm, Stuck relay keeping compressor on, Control board calibration error, Sensor not properly positioned in airflow
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the cabinet before accessing sensors or the control board.
- Verify setpoint: Confirm that the temperature setting is not accidentally set too low.
- Check sensor placement: Ensure the cabinet NTC sensor is mounted in its original location and not touching the evaporator coil directly, which can cause overcooling.
- Test sensor: Measure resistance at known temperatures and compare to specifications. Replace if readings are off.
- Control board check: If the sensor is good but the compressor runs excessively, the compressor relay on the main PCB may be stuck. Replace the main control board if necessary.
- Reposition bottles: Avoid placing bottles directly against the rear wall where air is coldest; allow space for airflow.
