Clogged condensate drain hole, Blocked or kinked drain tube, Cracked drain pan above compressor, Excessive condensation from door gasket leak
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance before removing panels. Mop up standing water to avoid slipping.
- Locate drain hole: Inside the cabinet, find the small drain hole at the rear bottom area.
- Clear blockage: Use a soft pipe cleaner or flexible plastic rod to gently clear debris from the drain hole. Flush with a small amount of warm water.
- Check drain tube and pan: From the rear, inspect the drain tube leading to the evaporator pan above the compressor. Ensure it is not kinked or disconnected. Verify the pan is not cracked.
- Inspect gasket: Replace a damaged door gasket that allows excessive warm, moist air inside.
