Possible Causes
Shorted cabinet NTC sensor, Stuck relay on main control board, Incorrect sensor placement touching evaporator, Firmware/control logic fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before accessing sensors or the control board.
- Verify settings: Confirm the set temperature is appropriate for wine storage and that any "super" or rapid-cool modes are off.
- Check sensor placement: Remove the interior sensor cover and ensure the NTC is not in direct contact with the evaporator or a cold air outlet. Reposition if necessary.
- Test sensor: Measure the NTC resistance and compare with expected values. Replace if readings suggest a short (very low resistance).
- Inspect control board: If the compressor runs continuously even when the interior is very cold, the compressor relay may be stuck closed. Replace the main PCB via a technician.
