Interior light stays on even when the door is closed, causing overheating.

Safety: Disconnect power before adjusting the door or switch.

• Check door closure: Ensure the door closes fully and the gasket contacts the cabinet all around. Adjust leveling if needed.
• Inspect door switch or magnet: Verify the switch is depressed when the door is closed or that the door magnet aligns with the reed switch.
• Replace faulty switch: Install a new Blastcool door switch or reed sensor if it does not change state.
• Control reset: After hardware checks, unplug the unit for 10 minutes to reset the control.

If the light still remains on, the main control PCB may be stuck driving the light output and should be replaced.
