Possible Causes
Loose compressor mounting, Vibrating copper tubing touching cabinet, Loose fan shroud or fan blades, Unit not leveled
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the cooler before adjusting components or touching moving parts.
- Level the unit: Adjust the Blastcool leveling feet so the cabinet is stable and does not rock.
- Check compressor mounts: Access the rear and ensure the compressor mounting bolts and rubber grommets are intact and snug (not overtightened).
- Secure tubing: Gently bend copper lines away from cabinet walls or each other if they are touching and vibrating. Do not kink the tubing.
- Inspect fans: Ensure fan blades are not hitting shrouds or wiring. Tighten any loose fan mounting screws.
Persistent loud mechanical noise from inside the compressor indicates internal wear; compressor replacement by a technician may be required.
