Wine cooler not cooling at all; interior at room temperature, lights may work.

Safety: Disconnect mains power before accessing the compressor compartment.

• Confirm power: Check that the outlet has power and the unit's power switch (if present) is on. Verify the circuit breaker has not tripped.
• Listen for compressor: When powered, listen for a low humming or vibration from the compressor. If silent, proceed with electrical checks.
• Inspect start components: Remove the rear panel and inspect the compressor start relay/PTC and overload protector for burn marks or melting.
• Test and replace: With the unit unplugged, test continuity of the overload and start device. Replace with a Blastcool compressor start relay/PTC kit if faulty.
• Check compressor windings (advanced): Measure resistance between compressor terminals. Open or shorted windings indicate a failed compressor.

If the compressor windings are defective or the compressor draws locked-rotor current without starting, the compressor and sealed system must be replaced by a refrigeration technician.
