Possible Causes
Faulty touch control panel, Moisture ingress behind control, Loose ribbon cable to main PCB, Damaged user interface board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the wine cooler before removing the control panel.
- Dry the area: If condensation or spills have occurred near the controls, allow the panel to dry completely. Do not spray cleaners directly on the control panel.
- Access UI board: Remove screws securing the control panel and gently pull it forward to expose the user interface board and ribbon cable.
- Reseat cable: Disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cable between the UI and main PCB to ensure a solid connection.
- Inspect for damage: Look for corrosion or burnt components on the UI board. Replace the control panel assembly if damaged.
- Test operation: Reassemble and restore power. If buttons still fail, the UI board or main PCB may need replacement; start with the UI board.
