Display shows E9 and the interior light or touch controls behave erratically; sometimes the display flickers or buttons do not respond.

Safety: Unplug the wine cooler before removing the control panel or top trim.

Steps:

• Inspect the control panel: Check for signs of moisture, condensation, or liquid spills around the display and buttons.
• Access UI connections: Remove the front control panel bezel (usually held by clips or small screws). Carefully pull it forward to expose the ribbon cable or harness.
• Reseat connectors: Disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cable between the display board and the main control board. Ensure it is fully inserted and locked.
• Dry the area: If moisture is present, gently dry the panel and connectors with a lint-free cloth. Allow time for complete drying before reassembly.
• Check for damage: Look for cracked circuit boards, corrosion on contacts, or burnt components on the display PCB.
• Replace if needed: If E9 persists and the panel is unresponsive, replace the display / user interface board with the correct BODEGA43 part.

After repair: Reassemble the panel, restore power, and verify that all buttons respond and the E9 code is cleared.
