Possible Causes
Door left open or not sealing, Blocked air circulation inside cabinet, Failed compressor, Refrigerant leak in sealed system
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No internal electrical work is required for basic checks, but unplug the unit if you need to remove panels.
What to check:
- Door closure: Ensure the BODEGA43 door closes fully and the gasket contacts the cabinet all around. Remove any bottles preventing full closure.
- Door gasket: Inspect for tears, warping, or gaps. Close a sheet of paper in the door at several points; if it pulls out easily, the seal is weak.
- Ventilation and spacing: Confirm adequate clearance around the unit and that front or rear vents are not blocked.
- Internal loading: Avoid overpacking bottles against the rear wall or air outlets. Rearrange bottles to allow airflow.
- Run time: After large warm loads or door left open, the H1 alarm may clear on its own after several hours of continuous cooling.
If H1 persists:
- Check if the compressor and fans are running. If they are off or cycling rapidly, there may be a control or compressor fault.
- If the compressor runs continuously but the cabinet does not cool, a sealed system issue (refrigerant leak, blocked capillary) is likely and requires a refrigeration technician.
