Possible Causes
Shorted NTC temperature sensor, Stuck relay on main control board, Incorrect temperature calibration, Faulty control panel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before accessing sensors or the control board.
Steps:
- Verify set temperature: Ensure the setpoint is appropriate for wine (typically 5–18°C / 41–64°F depending on type).
- Check with a thermometer: Place an accurate thermometer inside to compare actual temperature to display. Large differences suggest sensor or control issues.
- Inspect and test sensor: Locate the cabinet NTC sensor and measure resistance at known temperatures. Replace if readings are out of Bosch specification.
- Control board evaluation: If the sensor is good but the compressor never cycles off, the compressor relay on the main PCB may be stuck closed. Replace the main control board.
