Insufficient Cooling Performance
Wine cooler too warm, but compressor and fans are running
Advertisements
Possible Causes
Dirty condenser coils, Blocked ventilation grills, Door gasket leaking warm air, Overloaded with bottles blocking airflow
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before cleaning the condenser or moving the appliance.
Steps:
- Improve ventilation: Ensure the Bosch wine cooler has the clearances specified in the installation manual. Do not block front or rear grills.
- Clean condenser: Remove dust and lint from the condenser coils with a soft brush and vacuum.
- Check door gasket: Close the door on a sheet of paper and pull it out. If it slides easily, the gasket may not be sealing. Inspect for tears or warping and replace if needed.
- Reorganize bottles: Avoid stacking bottles tightly against the rear wall or air outlets. Maintain space for air circulation.
- Monitor temperature: After adjustments, allow 24 hours for temperatures to stabilize.
