Possible Causes
Worn touch sensors, cracked control panel, loose ribbon cable, control board UI input failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the wine cooler before working on the control panel.
- Step 1 – Clean panel surface: Wipe the touch surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove oils or residue that may affect sensitivity.
- Step 2 – Power reset: Unplug for 5 minutes and reconnect to clear minor glitches.
- Step 3 – Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and reseat the ribbon cable connecting it to the main control board.
- Step 4 – Inspect for cracks: Check the panel for physical cracks or damage. Replace the Café-compatible control panel if damaged or if buttons remain unresponsive.
- Step 5 – Check main board: If a new panel does not resolve the issue, the main control board UI input may be faulty and require replacement.
Do not spray cleaners directly onto the control panel; apply them to a cloth first.
