Display shows dr or a blinking door icon; alarm may sound even when the door appears closed.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before adjusting door hardware or accessing the switch wiring.

dr indicates the control thinks the door is open for too long.

• Step 1 – Check level and alignment: Use a level to ensure the wine cooler is not leaning forward. Adjust the front leveling legs so the door closes firmly.
• Step 2 – Inspect gasket: Look for gaps between the gasket and cabinet. Close the door on a strip of paper at several points; you should feel resistance when pulling it out. Replace the gasket if it does not seal.
• Step 3 – Verify magnet and switch: Confirm the door magnet is properly seated and aligned with the cabinet switch. Adjust the door or switch position if necessary.
• Step 4 – Test switch continuity: Remove and test the door switch as described for dE. Replace if intermittent.
• Step 5 – Secure wiring: Ensure the switch wires are not loose or pinched in the cabinet frame.

After adjustments, close the door and verify that the alarm stops and the icon clears.
