Safety first: Unplug the unit before working on the door switch or control board.

• Step 1 – Confirm door closure: Ensure the door is fully closed and aligned. Adjust leveling legs if needed.
• Step 2 – Test door switch: Locate the door switch and test continuity with the door open and closed (or magnet present). Replace the switch if it does not open when the door is closed.
• Step 3 – Check magnet alignment: Verify the door magnet lines up with the switch location. Adjust the door or switch position as needed.
• Step 4 – Inspect control board: If the switch is working but the light remains on, the light relay on the main control board may be stuck. Replace the Café-compatible main control board.

After repair, close the door and verify that the light turns off and the cabinet cools properly.
