Steps to restore control function:
- Clean surface: Wipe the control panel with a dry, soft cloth to remove moisture or residue.
- Power reset: Unplug for 5–10 minutes, then reconnect and test the buttons again.
- Access control panel: Remove the trim and carefully lift out the touch control PCB. Check for signs of corrosion or liquid damage.
- Check ribbon cable: Reseat the ribbon cable between the touch panel and main PCB. Ensure it is fully inserted and not damaged.
- Replace panel: If certain keys never respond or the panel behaves erratically despite clean, dry conditions, replace the touch control PCB.
