Shelves difficult to slide or binding, risk of dropping bottles

Safety: Remove bottles before adjusting shelves to prevent breakage.

Steps to restore smooth shelf operation:

• Inspect rails: Remove the shelf and check the side rails for bending or misalignment. Gently straighten if only slightly deformed.
• Tighten fixings: Tighten any loose screws securing the rails to the cabinet walls.
• Check for ice: If frost is present on the rails, defrost the unit and investigate defrost or door seal issues.
• Replace components: If rails or shelves are badly warped or damaged, replace the shelf rail set or wooden shelf as appropriate.

Note: Do not exceed the maximum bottle capacity per shelf specified by Caple to avoid future deformation.
