Strong musty or moldy smell inside the wine cooler

Safety: Unplug the cooler before deep cleaning. Use non-abrasive, food-safe cleaners.

Deodorizing steps:

• Empty the cabinet: Remove all bottles and shelves. Store wine in a cool, dark place temporarily.
• Clean interior: Wash walls, shelves, and gasket with a solution of mild detergent and warm water, followed by a wipe with a diluted vinegar or bicarbonate of soda solution.
• Clear drain: Ensure the defrost drain is clear and not holding stagnant water (see blocked drain procedure).
• Clean drip tray: Remove and clean the rear drip tray if accessible; mold often grows here.
• Air out: Leave the door open for several hours to dry completely before restocking.
