Possible Causes

Aging or drifting NTC temperature sensor, Poor sensor placement or contact with evaporator, Bottles blocking airflow around sensor, Faulty main control PCB calibration

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit before removing internal covers.

Steps to improve temperature accuracy:

  • Verify with a reliable thermometer: Place a digital thermometer in a bottle of water in the middle shelf and compare readings after several hours.
  • Check sensor location: Locate the cabinet NTC sensor and ensure it is properly clipped in place and not touching bottles or directly against the evaporator unless designed that way.
  • Improve airflow: Avoid overpacking shelves and keep a small gap between bottles and the rear wall to allow air circulation.
  • Replace suspect sensor: If the sensor reading is consistently off by several degrees compared to a reference thermometer, replace the cabinet NTC temperature sensor.
  • Control PCB: If a new sensor does not correct the issue, the control PCB's calibration may be off and the main control PCB may need replacement.

Tip: Wine coolers are designed for slow, stable temperature changes; allow at least 12–24 hours after adjustments before judging accuracy.
