Safety: Continuous running can overheat components. Monitor for unusual smells or noises and unplug if present.
- Check actual temperature: Use a separate thermometer to compare with the display. If the cabinet is already at or below setpoint but the compressor keeps running, suspect a sensor or control fault.
- Inspect gasket and door alignment: Correct any misalignment and replace damaged gaskets.
- Test NTC sensor: Verify that the cabinet sensor resistance matches expected values. Replace if out of range.
- Control board: If the sensor is good but the compressor never stops, the relay on the PCB may be stuck closed. Replace the main control board.
