Possible Causes
Failed NTC sensor in one temperature zone, Wiring harness break between zones and PCB, Faulty zone relay or triac on main board, Incorrect configuration after power surge
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before accessing internal panels or the control board.
- Identify affected zone: Compare the displayed temperatures and actual bottle temperature in each zone. The zone with unrealistic readings is likely at fault.
- Locate zone sensor: Each zone in a Climadiff dual-zone cooler typically has its own NTC sensor on the rear wall or evaporator plate. Remove the interior panel for the affected zone.
- Inspect and test sensor: Check the sensor and wiring for damage. Measure resistance and compare to the other zone's sensor at the same temperature. Replace if readings differ significantly.
- Check harness to PCB: Trace the sensor wires back to the main board, looking for pinched or broken sections, especially where they pass between compartments.
- Board-level issues: If sensors and wiring test good, the main PCB may have a failed zone output. Replacement of the PCB is usually required.
- Reassemble and test: After replacing the faulty component, power up and monitor both zones for several hours to confirm stable temperatures and no E10 code.
