Ambient / Room Temperature Sensor Failure
Display shows E3 and temperature readings are unstable or clearly incorrect.

Possible Causes
Faulty ambient NTC sensor, Sensor dislodged from its mounting near the front grille, Wiring harness damage near the base, Main PCB sensor input failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the wine cooler before removing the toe-kick or rear panel.
- Find the ambient sensor: Many Climadiff models use an ambient NTC near the front ventilation grille or behind the control panel to adjust compressor operation based on room temperature.
- Check mounting: Ensure the sensor is not hanging loose inside the cabinet base; it should be positioned where it can sense room air, not internal cabinet air or condenser heat.
- Inspect wiring: Look for crushed or abraded wires around the front feet, grille, or hinge area.
- Test resistance: Measure the NTC at room temperature and compare to the expected value. Replace if open, shorted, or far out of range.
- Reconnect and secure: Reseat the connector on the main PCB and secure the sensor in its original clip or bracket.
- Power up: Restore power and confirm that the E3 code disappears and that temperature readings stabilize over the next few hours.
