Access the fan: Remove the internal rear panel to expose the evaporator and circulation fan assembly.
Check for obstructions: Look for ice buildup, loose insulation, or wires contacting the fan blades. Clear any obstructions and ensure the blades spin freely by hand.
Test the fan motor: With a multimeter, check for continuity across the fan motor leads. An open circuit indicates a failed motor.
Verify voltage (advanced): With the unit powered and great caution, measure if the PCB is supplying the correct voltage to the fan when it should be running. If voltage is present but the fan does not turn, replace the fan motor.
Replace fan: Install a Climadiff-compatible evaporator fan, ensuring correct airflow direction and secure mounting.
Reassemble and test: Refit the panel, restore power, and confirm that the E6 code clears and that air circulation is strong and quiet.

Display shows E6 and the internal fan does not run or runs erratically.
