Possible Causes
Thermostat or PCB stuck in continuous cooling, NTC sensor reading too low (shorted), Ambient temperature too low for proper operation, Relay on main PCB welded closed
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit if internal temperatures are approaching freezing to protect your wine.
- Check ambient conditions: Climadiff wine coolers are designed for specific ambient temperature ranges. If the room is very cold, relocate the unit or raise room temperature.
- Inspect sensor: If the display shows unrealistically low values, test the cabinet NTC sensor for a short circuit (very low resistance). Replace if faulty.
- Observe compressor run time: If the compressor never stops, the control relay may be stuck. This requires main PCB replacement.
- Reset control: Unplug for 5–10 minutes, then reconnect to see if the relay releases and normal cycling resumes.
- After repair: Monitor temperatures with a separate thermometer to ensure the unit maintains the correct wine storage range.
