How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the cooler before removing interior panels.
Steps:
- Compare zones: Note which zone is warm. Listen for fan operation in that zone.
- Inspect fan and ducts: Remove interior panels in the warm zone to check the zone fan and any air channels for obstructions.
- Test fan: If the fan does not run when the zone calls for cooling, test for voltage and replace the fan motor if necessary.
- Check sensor: Test the zone temperature sensor for correct resistance. Replace if faulty.
- Control board: If hardware is good but the zone still does not cool, the main control board may not be controlling that zone correctly and may need replacement.
