- Check wiring: Confirm the fan connector is firmly seated on the control board and that wires are not damaged.
- Test operation: Briefly power the unit and observe whether the fan starts when the compressor runs. If not, test for voltage at the fan connector. Replace the fan motor if voltage is present but the fan does not run.
- Control board: If no voltage is present and wiring is intact, replace the main control board.
