Safety: Surfaces may be hot but should not be scorching. If you smell burning, unplug immediately.

• Check installation: Ensure there is adequate clearance around the cooler (per Costway manual). Do not enclose it tightly in cabinetry unless it is a built-in model.
• Verify fan operation: On models with a rear condenser, confirm the condenser fan is running when the compressor is on.
• Ambient conditions: Reduce room temperature or move the unit away from heat sources.
• Monitor: Some warmth on the sides is normal due to condenser tubing. If surfaces are excessively hot or paint is discoloring, have the unit inspected.
