Possible Causes

Unit not level, Loose internal fan or mounting screws, Compressor or condenser lines touching cabinet, Noisy fan motor bearings

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the cooler before tightening screws or moving it.

Steps:

  • Level the cabinet: Adjust the front and rear feet so the unit is stable and does not rock. Use a spirit level if available.
  • Check for contact points: From the rear, ensure refrigerant lines and the condenser coil are not touching the cabinet walls. Gently bend them away and add foam padding if needed.
  • Tighten hardware: Tighten mounting screws on the compressor bracket, condenser fan, and internal shelves.
  • Inspect fans: If noise comes from inside, check the evaporator/circulation fan for wobble or bearing noise. Replace the fan motor if noisy.
