Excessive Condensation / Door Seal or Ambient Humidity Issue
Condensation or moisture forming on the inside of the glass door
Advertisements
Possible Causes
High room humidity, Poor door gasket seal, Frequent door openings, Failed door heater (if equipped)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Condensation itself is not dangerous, but wipe up water to avoid slipping.
- Check gasket seal: Inspect the door gasket for gaps. Perform the paper test around the perimeter and replace the gasket if it fails.
- Reduce door openings: Limit how often and how long the door is open, especially in humid environments.
- Room conditions: If possible, operate the wine cooler in a room with lower humidity or use a dehumidifier.
- Door heater (if present): Some glass doors have an anti-condensation heater. If condensation is severe and persistent, the heater circuit may have failed and may require control board or heater replacement by a technician.
