How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the cooler before removing the control panel.
- Clean surface: Wipe the touch panel with a soft, dry cloth to remove any moisture or residue that may interfere with capacitive buttons.
- Access control panel: Remove screws or clips to access the back of the display/control assembly.
- Check ribbon cable: Ensure the flat cable between the touch panel and main board is fully seated and not damaged. Reseat both ends.
- Inspect for moisture: Look for condensation or spills inside the control housing. Dry thoroughly and correct any gasket issues.
- Replace UI board: If buttons still do not respond, replace the user interface/touch control board with a Danby-specific part.
