Door does not close properly or pops open slightly after closing

Safety: Have someone assist when adjusting the door to prevent it from falling.

• Level the cabinet: Adjust the front leveling legs so the cooler is slightly tilted back. This helps the door close and stay shut.
• Inspect hinges: Check top and bottom hinges for looseness. Tighten screws and ensure hinge brackets are not bent.
• Check gasket: Look for twisted or compressed sections. Warm the gasket gently with a hair dryer and reshape it to improve sealing.
• Adjust door position: Loosen hinge screws slightly, reposition the door for even gaps around the frame, then retighten.
• Replace gasket or hinges: If the gasket is torn or hinges are damaged, replace them with Danby-compatible parts.
