Display shows PF or power failure indicator; unit may beep after outage

Safety: Ensure hands are dry when working with power connections.

• Confirm power stability: Check that other appliances on the same circuit are functioning normally. Avoid using lightweight extension cords.
• Reset alarm: Press and hold the alarm or power button (per user manual) to clear the PF indication.
• Inspect cord and plug: Make sure the Danby wine cooler’s power cord is fully inserted into a grounded outlet and not damaged.
• Test outlet: Plug in a lamp or tester to verify proper voltage at the outlet.
• Internal check: If PF appears repeatedly without actual outages, the control board’s power supply may be unstable. Replace the main control PCB.
