Loud humming, rattling, or vibrating noise during operation

Possible Causes
Unit not level, Loose compressor mounting, Vibrating shelves or bottles, Noisy condenser or evaporator fan motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Some checks can be done with the unit running, but keep fingers and tools away from moving parts.
- Level the cabinet: Adjust the front leveling legs so the Danby wine cooler is stable and does not rock. Use a spirit level if available.
- Rearrange bottles: Ensure bottles are not touching the rear wall or each other in a way that amplifies vibration. Use the supplied shelves correctly.
- Tighten panels: Check that rear and interior panels are securely fastened and not buzzing.
- Inspect fans: Remove rear or interior panels to listen closely to the condenser and evaporator fans. Replace any fan motor that is excessively noisy or has a worn bearing sound.
- Compressor mounts: Verify the rubber grommets under the compressor are intact and that mounting bolts are snug but not overtightened.
