Display shows E11 and the humidity display (if equipped) is inaccurate or shows dashes; cabinet may feel too dry or too humid.

Some De Dietrich wine coolers include a humidity sensor to maintain optimal storage conditions. E11 indicates a problem with this sensor.

• Locate the humidity sensor: It is often mounted on the interior side wall or ceiling, sometimes behind a small grille.
• Visual inspection: Remove the cover and inspect the sensor for corrosion, mold, or water damage.
• Check wiring and connector: Ensure the sensor harness is firmly connected and not pinched or cut.
• Functional test: Many humidity sensors are digital and cannot be easily tested with a simple multimeter. If the wiring is intact and E11 persists, the sensor is likely defective.
• Replace sensor: Install a new De Dietrich-compatible humidity sensor module. Mount it in the same location and ensure the grille is clean to allow air flow.
• Re-test: Restore power and verify that the humidity reading returns and that E11 is cleared.
