Possible Causes

Failed Peltier module, Overheated heatsink due to dust-clogged fan, Loose Peltier wiring, Failed Peltier driver circuit on control PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before touching the heatsink or Peltier module.

  • Access Peltier assembly: Remove the rear panel to expose the aluminum heatsink, Peltier module, and cooling fan.
  • Clean heatsink and fan: Use compressed air or a soft brush to remove dust from the heatsink fins and fan blades. Ensure the fan spins freely.
  • Check wiring: Inspect the Peltier module leads and connectors for burns or loose connections. Reseat connectors.
  • Module inspection: If the fan runs but there is no temperature difference across the Peltier module (one side should be cold, the other warm during operation), the module may be failed.
  • Replace Peltier module: Remove the clamping bracket, carefully separate the module from the heatsinks, clean old thermal compound, and install a new Della Marta Peltier cooling module with fresh thermal paste on both sides. Reassemble tightly and test.
