Safety: Disconnect power before accessing the lower compartment panels.
Steps:
- Locate lower sensor: Remove the lower rear interior panel to find the lower zone sensor attached to the liner or evaporator.
- Inspect wiring: Look for pinched wires under shelves or at panel edges. Repair any damage.
- Measure resistance: Test the sensor with a multimeter. Replace the lower zone temperature sensor if readings are open, shorted, or out of spec.
- Control board: If the sensor and wiring are good, replace the main control PCB or dedicated lower zone board if fitted.
