Wine cooler interior light does not turn on when door is opened, but cooling works normally.

Safety: Unplug the unit before working on the light or door switch.

Steps:

• Check light setting: Some Dometic models allow the light to be turned off via the control panel. Ensure it is not disabled.
• Test door switch: Press the door switch manually; if the light does not come on, test the switch for continuity and replace if faulty.
• Inspect LED module: Remove the light cover and check the LED light module or bulb. Replace if visibly damaged or if it does not light when powered.
• Wiring and board: If the switch and light module are good, inspect wiring back to the control board. If wiring is intact, the light driver on the main control PCB may be defective and the board will need replacement.
