Safety: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.
Steps:
- 1. Clean panel: Wipe the touch surface with a mild cleaner and dry thoroughly. Moisture can interfere with capacitive sensors.
- 2. Power reset: Unplug for 5 minutes, then reconnect and test.
- 3. Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and carefully reseat the ribbon cable between the touch panel and the user interface board.
