Interior light stays on even when the door is closed, causing warming inside.

Safety: Unplug the unit before adjusting or replacing the door switch.

Steps:

• 1. Verify door closure: Ensure nothing is obstructing the door. Check that the door is flush with the cabinet.
• 2. Manually operate switch: Press the door switch plunger; the light should turn off. If it does not, the switch or control is faulty.
• 3. Replace switch: Remove the switch from the cabinet frame, disconnect wiring, and install a new Electrolux door switch.

Note: If the light remains on with a new switch, the control board may be defective and should be serviced by a technician.
