• Step 1 – Confirm actual temperature stability: Use an independent thermometer to see if wine temperature is actually fluctuating or if cycling is just audible.
• Step 2 – Check sensor placement: Ensure the cabinet NTC sensor is in its original location and not touching the evaporator coil or directly in the cold air stream.
• Step 3 – Improve air mixing: Avoid blocking internal airflow with tightly packed bottles; leave some space for circulation.
• Step 4 – Firmware/board replacement: If cycling is extreme and sensor placement is correct, the control board may have an issue with hysteresis and may need replacement.
